40 pages already! I’m amazed it’s that long. Admittedly, that’s not a whole lot to read, but it has been a whole lot to draw.
I’ve gotten a bunch of new followers lately, so hey everyone! I’m Meggie, I’m 26, and I run this webcomic here called Green Lion. It’s steampunk Victorian horror with heavy alchemical and western magical tradition influences. My good friend Ben writes it with me. I recently got a new job that’s a little more time consuming, but pays a lot better than my last one, but it means art production has slowed somewhat. I used to be a barista, but I was recently hired by Lush. I’m still kind of adjusting to the change, but it’s a pretty nice job so I can’t complain.
One of the reasons I’ve been especially busy lately is because I’ve started taking wing chun lessons. I’m not very good yet, and because I’ve never hit anyone in anger my whole life and have the approximate constitution of a ripe peach… I bruise really easily. Apparently I’ll bruise much less as I condition my arms, but in the meantime it looks like I got into a really nasty fight.
I have exaggerated feelings of being a total badass when I look in the mirror though.
