They’re about to suffocate in this picture so I hope that kiss is worth it.
The Lovers represents, most obviously, a romantic connection. There is an intense level of trust and shared passion, far beyond immediate gratification. However, it can also indicate an impending choice, and the potential of entering into a relationship. One must realize the gravity of the choice in question, and if you’re considering a relationship, what must you sacrifice to make it work? The choice indicated by The Lovers is a clear one between good and bad, hard and easy, but that doesn’t make it less complex. The obvious path may not be the best one for you. Before coming to a decision, consider all the consequences of your actions. Relationships may be at stake, and these lovers, friends and enemies are what make us human.
Well, there are the three I settled on sending in. Pchooooo. I’m super nervous, but also excited. I wish I’d had the time to do more fresh art, but I still like those older pieces.
My finished track art contest submission. I know there’ll be a ton of amazing submissions for Dirk, but he’s become my favorite character so I had to try. I’m really proud of how this came out. Time to get back to the real world, though.
